LDP interns are evaluated throughout the summer and will ultimately be considered for full-time LDP positions.

The LDP is sponsored directly by Brunswick’s Vice President of Strategy and closely monitored by Brunswick’s executive leadership team. In addition to your on-the-job learning experiences, you will also be encouraged to join your cohort for our quarterly programming event that takes place in the summer to provide exposure to another division/location.

Interview Process and Placement

As a summer intern in the LDP, your title will be the same as it would be if you joined the full-time program, Manager of Strategy and Business Development. You will interview for acceptance into the general program and we will take division and/or location preferences into consideration the best we can. When you receive an offer, it will be to support a specific division: Mercury Marine, Brunswick Boat Group, Business Acceleration, or Corporate. Exact locations vary based on business needs each year, however, locations for internships always include Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; and Mettawa, Illinois. Given the company’s strategy to develop leaders for the entire corporation, those with geographic mobility will be more attractive during the selection process.
