Safety Intern | Grande Cheese Company

1. Support current Safety Department projects in progress

· Assist with reviewing safety procedures and SDS documentation

· Assist with plant safety assessments and recommendations

· Assist with incident investigation process and corrective actions

2. Exposure to Safety Department cross functional role within the Enterprise

· Attend meetings with Engineering to review new equipment to meet regulatory compliance standards.

· Attend plant safety committee and staff meetings

3. Actively participate in Safety Department functions to meet desired goals

· Attend regularly scheduled safety department meetings

· Assist with updating monthly safety metrics
