Sales Assistant/Coordinator

We’re looking for a top notch SALES ASSISTANT/COORDINATOR to join our winning team. In this role, you will assist the Sales Department in all facets of the sale. Ranging from communicating with clients regarding requests for proposals, providing assistance to Sales Reps in booking campaigns, while closely communicating with operations to ensure a campaigns run smoothly from start to finish. This position will have a key role in driving the success of sales and you will get to wear many hats. Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to develop and grow their own accounts.
 
Career Opportunity Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist our Sales Reps with proposals for clients
  • Mapping, researching campaigns that target specific areas/locations, looking up inventory availability
  • Provide detailed data to clients by filling out their templates or an internal template created by Alchemy
  • Provide Proof of Performance/Completion Reports to clients and/or Accounting
  • Enter contracted campaigns into FileMaker and include detailed posting instructions to ensure proper installation of campaigns
  • Coordinate with Distributions to ensure a successful campaign is executed
  • Communicate with clients regarding any inquiries or requests they may have around campaigns
  • Calculate media rates, poster quantities and poster coverage for dedicated sites for clients
 
Ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree from four year institution
  • 0-1 year experience or internship working in a corporate or start up environment
  • Excellent ability to interpret direction and draft correspondence and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Competitive spirit; desire to "own" accounts
  • Team player with great communication skills and a sense of urgency to interact at all levels of the organization
  • Strong time management skills are a must 
  • Exceptional follow through skills and ability to stay one step ahead
  • A strong work ethic with a sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver
  • A dedicated interest and passion to pursue a career in Media, Advertising or Sales
  • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat are a must
  • Adobe Photoshop abilities are a plus
