Senior Full Stack Developer

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA), Southeast Division (SED) in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a position to assist in the defining and developing of a cloud-based architecture for a physics-based computational system. This system will be deployed for use in the Department of Defense. Candidates should have a solid understanding of full stack web development and be passionate about participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

As a valued contributor to our project team, your responsibilities will include (1) helping to architect a computational environment for deployment in defense systems, (2) working alongside and (3) contributing to decision-making on the selection of elements within the software environment with an understanding of how decisions influence each other. Additionally, you will contribute to the integration of computational, analysis, and visualization capabilities into this environment.

Due to the work you’ll perform and interactions with intelligence community and DoD programs you will need to be eligible to apply for and hold a US Secret security clearance (selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements at the time of employment).
