Summer PhD Internship -Edge Machine Learning

We are looking for engineers with passion and talent for solving important consumer problems through innovative technology! Starting with a broad vision of emergent technologies and a deep understanding of consumer issues that need to be solved, we use technologies such as devices, connectivity, machine learning, embedded systems, cloud computing, robotics, etc. to identify, synthesize, and prototype testable solutions in a fast-paced, hands-on, agile team environment. 
 
Your work will include:
Landscaping the available software libraries and techniques to compress and deploy machine learning models on edge devices.
 
Developing a working prototype of a project-related trained ML model on a specific micro-controller.
 
Share key insights from this process with broader team to enhance collective understanding of edge deployment.
 
Handling software development and data collection from experiments and sharing with team.
 

 
 
Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:
 
    * Enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
    * Hardware-software integration
    * Python C/C++programming
    * Machine Learning
    * Data Analytics
    * Be excited to explore new methods and applications
    * Experience with conducting independent and collaborative research projects.
    * Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
