The successful Production Supervisor candidate will contribute to the success of our customers by effectively managing the daily production so that output meets or exceeds the production schedule and quality requirements.
Job Responsibilities
· Effectively manages the daily production of customers’ orders so that production meets or exceeds the production schedule while meeting safety, quality and cost goals.
· Ensures that daily production goals/objectives are met.
· Observe daily work progress and pre-empt bottlenecks in production to ensure continuous line operation.
· Maintains an active presence on the floor to monitor, motivate and ensure success.
· Manage the safety, cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of the shop floor and workstations.
· Implement and maintain standards and processes that eliminate waste throughout the department.
· Provides employees the skill and information they need to perform their jobs successfully.
· Coaches employees to succeed and develops them for the future.
Job Requirements
· 5- 10 years in a manufacturing environment within a regulated industry.
· Minimum 5 years of production supervisory/management experience
· Knowledge of batch processing, lean manufacturing terms and techniques and shipping/fulfillment.
· Knowledge of the manufacturing of personal care, cosmetics or pharmaceutical products.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
