Intern-Advanced Products and Technology-Mechanical Engineering #3392

Position Description:

As a mechanical engineer in the Advanced Products and Technology line of business, this position will involve research, design and development, and integration of emerging technologies in the fields of Structure Materials, Power and Energy, Lethality, Survivability, and Additive Manufacturing. The detailed assignments available include:
- Rapid CAD concept development
- Engineering analysis (FEA, Thermal CFD)
- Proposal development
- Supplier development (Statement of work)
- Trade studies
- Academia Outreach
- Customer collaboration

Position Requirements:
Candidate should possess:
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-Knowledgeable and interested in new technologies
-Skilled in computers and Office tools
-Prior work experience a plus.
 - MS Office expertise
- Working Knowledge of CREO (PTC)
- Working Knowledge of TeamCenter
- Working Knowledge of FEA and/or CFD
-Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline
-Candidates must have attained Sophomore status (completed Freshman year requirements)
-Candidates must be at least 18 years old
-Candidates must currently be attending a university or college and enrolled in an undergraduate program
-Candidates must preferably have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
-Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
-The Intern must be able to complete a minimum of a 3 month assignment and work full time for the duration
