Product Lifecycle Management Administrator

We are currently looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Administrator.

The Product Lifecycle Management Administrator will be responsible for the selection, creation and management of the engineering hardware/software (laptop and desktop computers, global PLM system, published document search tool) used within the Corporate Engineering Department, and throughout the organization. This position will work closely with Information Technology (I.T.) to implement the corporate engineering objectives.

We are looking for people with the following technical expertise:
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in the use of PLM/database structures, SW PDM, Windchill and Sequel; preferred
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining scripts/programs utilized in the engineering tools
  • Competent in setting up and maintaining development servers/virtual machines including network communications within a test environment
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems appropriately, such as database maintenance and manipulation, and mass importing of data
  • Ability to audit and validate database periodically
  • Write programs/scripts in a variety of languages depending on the application
  • Understanding of computer networking/servers

  • Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to guide and train other departmental personnel as required
We are looking for people whose background includes:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science, or related experience
  • Two or more years of experience in PLM/database management; preferred
