Larson Acres Inc. is an established family-owned dairy farm in southern Wisconsin. We are looking for someone who is motivated, self-directed, and hard working to join our team for an internship to assist in crop production which includes harvesting; manure application; other equipment operation and repair; as well as other farm repairs.

§ Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe manner

§ Basic mechanical knowledge

§ Ability to use basic hand tools

§ Ability to tolerate exposure to manure, hot and cold weather, and handle dirty parts

§ Ability to lift 50lbs

§ Effective problem solver and time management

§ Ability to follow written and oral directions, and communicate effectively in English

§ Ability to work independently and with a variety of people types and personalities

§ Willingness to work varying hours, long shifts, weekends and holidays

§ Prior experience in farm work preferred

§ Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record

§ Approximately May 15-Sept. 1 (possibility to extend time)

§ Minimum 50 hour work week.

Pay- $13.00
