Marketing Manager


American Bank in Beaver Dam, WI is seeking a Marketing Manager to serve as a central resource for marketing and public relations materials for the organization. The Marketing Manager will report to the Vice President / Retail Banking Manager. The right candidate will fill a unique position working with bank partners to lead high-level projects, programs and initiatives to advance American Bank’s vision and strategic priorities.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing marketing plans and programs that achieve specific business goals, drive engagement / advancement, and positively promote the American Bank brand. This position will utilize market data to define strategies, identify appropriate audiences, and create awareness of new opportunities to enhance the American Bank experience based on qualitative and quantitative findings.

The Marketing Manager position requires organization, flexibility, a highly collaborative nature and the ability to evolve with changing priorities. You are a big picture thinker with an eye for detail. You will work directly with the Vice President / Retail Banking Manager to set priorities, define outcomes, manage working groups, report the status of projects and develop metrics to determine and monitor effectiveness of each project and campaign. The position requires a team player with the ability to work independently and on-task when needed. 

What you get to do:

  • Develop marketing plan and monitor and track effectiveness of plan and campaigns
  • Be responsible for the accuracy and relevancy for all technical, marketing and image assets for traditional and digital campaigns
  • Draft, publish and maintain materials for bank products and services
  • Act as administrator for American Bank’s website and social media presence
  • Develop and implement new media opportunities
  • Create meaningful content for customers’ and potential customers’ needs
  • Develop marketing materials including new stories, press releases, new product introductions, customer emails, product awareness material, and others as determined by bank management team
  • Work with all areas of the bank to promote their products and services
  • Field, respond and full-fill (where appropriate) donation requests
  • Conduct market research
  • Runs overall relationships with direct advertising agencies and vendors
  • Other marketing, content and creative creation, set-up and maintenance as determined by bank management
