Intern - Configuration Control #3389

Position Description:
-Support the Configuration Management and Control of the GDLS designed systems and vehicle platforms.
-Support engineers in the creation and processing of Engineering Change Proposals.
-Support the process Configuration Mangement department through process improvement / innovations.

Position Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline, Systems Engineering / Configuration Management or Operations Management preferred, from an accredited 4-year university or college.
- Candidate must currently be attending an accredited university or college by ACE – American Council on Education and have at least sophomore status at start of internship.
- Candidate must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check and must provide an original transcript from his/her school before his/her first day of employment.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be a U.S. Person (i.e., a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.).
- Must be able to complete a minimum of a full time, 3-month assignment.
- Must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills.
