About the Program
Our 10-week, paid Corporate Internship Program begins June 1, 2020. This program offers college students the opportunity to fully immerse in the day-to-day activities of the business unit. Throughout the program, students will build upon their current skillsets and work in a collaborative environment, while learning from subject matter experts across the organization. They will participate in projects that work toward company objectives, resulting in new solutions that inspire innovation both at JHA and across the fintech industry.

Internship Description
Under moderate supervision, the intern will write, edit, and format documentation and online help. Products include but are not limited to quarterly release/enhancement documentation, product support manuals, installation manuals, help documents, tutorials in support of customer or internal organizations, and announcements to customers and partners. Projects involve working in an Agile development environment, writing topic-based drafts for a content management system (CMS), transitioning legacy materials into a CMS, and collaborating with team members of different perspectives and backgrounds.
The nature of this position will require public speaking and a strong attention to detail. The chosen candidate will be expected to explain concepts and processes to both technical and non-technical parties, as well as meet clearly defined deadlines and deliver commitments on time. Concern for customer service is a top-priority; therefore, strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy is critical. 

Minimum Qualifications
A Student Must: 
Currently be enrolled at an accredited university or college.
Pursue a bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing, Technical Writing, or Writing with Technology.
Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship with minimum absences. 
Have completed their sophomore year of college (at minimum). 
Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time.

Preferred Qualifications 
·       One year of professional writing experience 
·       Ability to accept and apply constructive criticism
·       Comfortable presenting to an audience 
·       Knowledge of DITA
·       General understanding of the FinTech industry
