ACCOUNTANT

What would you be doing as an Accountant?
- Performing month end closing procedures, including account analysis and preparing journal entries.
- Performing balance sheet account reconciliations. Researches and resolves reconciling items in a timely manner. Analyzes and apply reasonableness in regard to account balances and activity and investigates differences, changes and unreasonable amounts.
- Supporting the integrity of the general ledger by applying generally accepted accounting principles
- Performing Budget to Actual analysis for management as needed.
- Preparing audit schedules and responds to auditor requests during financial and tax audits
- Ensuring all processes are appropriately documented and assists in the ongoing documentation of accounting policies and procedures
What Experience and Qualifications Do You Need to Have?
- 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong internal and external customer focus
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a faced paced team environment and to meet deadlines
- Proven analytical and decision-making skills
- Must be self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
