Tech Viz Graphic Designer Intern
KIE Proposal Services (KIEPS) is based in Denver, Colorado, and provides exceptional – best in class – proposal support services to Kiewit Infrastructure and Engineering Districts. KIEPS represents a shared services initiative for Kiewit Engineering Group and Kiewit Infrastructure Group, divisions of Kiewit Corporation.
KIE Proposal Services has an internship opening in its group in Denver, CO. This intern position is temporary, starting in May or June 2020 and lasting for eight weeks.
Position Summary:
Tech Viz (technical visualization)/Graphic Designer Intern to participate in the creation of graphics (technical, 2D, 3D and 4D) and layout for Statement of Qualifications, Proposals and Client Presentations.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
•Work with proposal team to develop winning proposals
•Develop graphic design elements for proposals, such as mood boards, logos, tabs, covers, page templates, long format document layout, icons, infographics, charts/graphs, labels, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
•Ability to create 3D and 4D graphics
•Assist in the production of proposals
•Ability to learn how to comprehend and create technical graphics
•Ability to recognize areas in proposal to recommend graphics
•Manage deadlines and responsibilities assigned through responsibility matrix
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
•0 - 4 years of tech viz/graphic design experience
•Undergraduate degree in graphic design, technical illustration, communication or equivalent required
•Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat
•Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
•Experience in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros and/or other 3D/4D software

•Ability to work with different personalities, and take direction from senior staff
•Driven for results and deadlines
•Strong attention to detail, organization and active listening skills
•Ability to balance and successfully complete multiple tasks simultaneously
