Position Summary
The Graphic Design Intern will work on Zurn’s DiRXN output and assist in ad-hoc design projects. The intern will work within the creative team to support marketing initiatives. This individual will gain experience by taking on valuable project responsibilities, working alongside mentors, and creating compelling marketing pieces. This opportunity will also expose the individual to multiple departments and mission-critical vendors. The Graphic Design Intern will execute all projects based on the direction and the established brand standards.
 
Responsibilities
  • Assist in PIM asset migration
  • Identify 360 spin photography and pull stills for ecommerce use
  • Assist transition of old assets into new organization library on Box
  • Keep Digital Asset Management System updated
  • Execute assigned design projects
  • Create social media graphics and newsletter graphics 
  • Identify lifestyle/install photography, include what products are in them, and work with the ecommerce team to get them added to our website
  • Gather quotes from vendors and confirm ship dates, tracking info, etc. 
  • Review literature for current dates on fulfillment, and identify older literature for update
  • Inventory Zurn’s literature fulfillment site, ZIX (site map breakdown)
  • Proofread copy 
  • Assist Senior Copywriter with internal interviews for feature articles
  • Carry out special projects as needed

Experience and Skill Required
  • Must currently be pursuing a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Graphic Design)
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred
  • Proficient skills with Adobe CC, Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Basic Photoshop skills preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments
  • Able to work 40 hrs per week during the summer, and 10-15 hrs during the school year
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
