Marketing Instructional Designer Intern
Position Summary
The Marketing Intern will work with a team to develop marketing content and implement promotional campaigns to drive brand messaging and ultimately increase awareness and demand of Zurn products. As part of the Marketing internship program, you will be given the opportunity to work as part of the Marketing team with specific project responsibilities, access to mentors, and create Marketing initiatives that will be implemented into the business. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments, and gain exposure to Product Marketing Specialists, Product Managers, Creative Designers, Sales Professionals, and other internal departments. As a Marketing Intern team member, you will assist in projects relevant to the development and execution of our core Marketing competencies and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver instructional products based on the ADDIE model with the five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation
- Work with Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers to ensure curriculum is up-to-date and accurate
- Convert existing Zurn product training PowerPoints into SCORM compliant eLearning courses via Adobe Captivate
- Develop Zurn product training quizzes
- Work with the LMS system administrator and training administrator to load courses into Rexnord’s SumTotal Learning Management System (LMS)
- Develop and implement promotions for new product training offerings
- Assist with LMS list enhancements, as needed
- Assist with LMS evaluation, reporting and admin tasks, as needed
- Support the Product Training Manager with other product training events and tasks, as needed
- Maintain multiple projects, at different phases in their life cycle, moving forward through completion
- Carry out special projects as needed

Experience and Skill Required
- Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree
- GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Basic Photoshop skills preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn new tools and tasks, as required
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments
- Able to work 40 hrs per week during the summer
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
