Mechanical Engineering Intern
Position Summary
The Mechanical Engineering 2020 summer Intern will have responsibility on a Manufacturing Engineering team at our Industrial Chain Facility located in West Milwaukee, WI. The intern will have opportunity to work on the processes that support production of steel components for our industrial chain. These processes include production planning, creation of CAD drawings, creation of operation sheets, creation of CNC programs, and maintenance of tooling. During this assignment, the intern will develop or strengthen competencies in SAP, Solidworks, CNC machine-specific software, project management, and visual daily management.
The Mechanical Engineering Intern will be supervised by a Manufacturing Engineer at the facility and will have additional mentoring provided by the Production Supervisor and Plant Manager.
All participants in the Rexnord Engineering Internship Program will develop technical, business, and leadership skills.
