Jr. Intelligent Process Automation Engineer - Technology Associate Program (330303)

Position Summary:
 
The Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) Ops team works closely with our Digital Infrastructure Teams to support our automation opportunities at Chubb. Once an automation opportunity is identified, the IPA team develops the technology platforms and bots to perform this automation. The IPA team is fast-paced, quick to adapt to change, and highly collaborative. The IPA team is a key driver for Chubb’s digital transformation.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Supporting our leading edge Bot infrastructure deployed throughout the world.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and resolving issues within Chubb’s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms. 
  • Troubleshooting scripts that automate software delivery and infrastructure delivery capabilities.
  • Managing requests through a standard ticketing system (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • On-Call 24x7 operational support for complex production environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Basic exposure / experience with code development (Java, Python, Ruby, etc.)
  • Knowledge or exposure to cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge or exposure to WorkFusion / Soroco or similar RPA automation platforms.
  • Energetic, able to build and sustain long-term relationships across a multitude of stakeholders in a fast paced, multi-national work environment.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present, persuade and influence peers.
  • Bachelor's degree required
 
Bonus Skills:
 
  • Exposure or experience with Selenium Web Driver and java backend automation.
  • Exposure or experience with Open Source/Community Edition technologies like Linux/Jenkins/GITHUB
  • DevOps knowledge (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
  • Migrating workloads or building tools and applications in the public cloud (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
  • Understanding of the SAFe Agile development methodology
