Project Manager Internship at Growing Framing Company!
JL Schwieters Building Supply Construction, Inc, is the industry’s fastest growing lumber supplier and framing company in Minnesota. We are a complete component/pre-fab manufacturer and full building supply center. We manufacture roof and floor trusses, wall panels, stairs, fireplace/entertainment centers and many other pre-fab components. Our labor division performs the field install of these products.
We are now seeking candidates for your 2020 Summer Internship!
Gain real-life experience in prefab framing construction by neing exposed to field operations, safety, estimating, design, sales, and project management experiences. You will spend designated times in each position learning the crucial role they play in providing tuirnkey framing solutions in the Metro area. Your duties may include the office and field environments. We also like to mold the internship around what you want to learn! If you have a focus in one area we like to try to focus the internship around that area. Other than learning the operation you will also be given an assignment/project(s) to work on thought out your assignment.
Hours – 7am-4pm Mon-Fri.
Qualifications:
· Must be pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or relevant field
· Must have at least 2 years, or summers, of construction experience – preferably framing
· Must have valid DL and able to work from our Hugo office
· Must have a strong attention to detail and strong communication skills
