Hiring: Sexual Assault Prevention - Community Outreach Internship

The Blue Bench has been serving our Denver-Metro for over 35 years as the only comprehensive sexual assault prevention and care center. We are hiring organizers to be out in our communities engaging and educating the public.

As part of our staff, you would organize neighborhoods and community members on the issue of sexual assault. Responsibilities include:
  • We do door-to-door community outreach and education
  • Connect survivors and their families with our hotline and counselling information
  • Engage community support through volunteer recruitment and fundraising

We are currently looking for dependable, motivated individuals to be part of our grassroots campaigns. Good communication and reading skills are a must. You must also possess a genuine interest in social justice issues.

This position is perfect for students, with opportunities for long-term growth. We provide extensive training and receive regular updates from field experts.

The hours for the work are from 2 PM to 10:30 PM - Monday through Friday, Part time is 3 weekdays (you choose the days!)

Benefits:
·        Full Time Pay: $450-$600/week plus bonuses
·        Part Time Pay: $270-$400/week plus bonuses
·        Full time staff accrue paid sick days, vacation, and health insurance after 60 days
