We are searching for an energized & self-led individual for an Import Specialist role at our convenient location in our St. Paul, MN (Corporate Headquarters). This requires collaborations with the customers, distributor partners, the national accounts teams to enhance our logistical efficiencies.

Daily Activities:

  • Classify import shipments in preparation for Customs clearance
  • File ISF with Customs for ocean containers
  • Make entry of Ocean, Rail and Air shipments entering the USA
  • File PSC and Protest Claims with Customs
  • Process deferred taxes and ensure payment is done in accordance with the guidelines given.
  • Trace incoming ocean shipments.
  • Copy import documents for customs.
  • Send out delivery orders for import shipments.
You will Need to Have: (Skills AND Requirements)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college preferred.
  • Customs Broker License desired
  • Prior import compliance experience strongly desired.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications. 
  • Detail oriented with strong time management and organization skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact and maintain good relationships.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Punctuality and good attendance a must.
