Foxconn Industrial Internet is seeking talented individuals capable of learning and performing the following tasks:
- Build, optimize, and deploy machine learning models through a variety of cutting-edge pathways.
- Work in direct support of FII’s initiatives to deliver intelligence-based solutions and technology services to our world-renowned customers.
- Optimize machine learning models as APIs or software libraries to be integrated into a full-stack, AI cloud applications.
- Help assist our clients by creating customer specific ML/AI applications to gain insights on making critical predictions, automated reasoning and decisions, and to calculate optimization algorithms.
- Design, implement, and evaluate new models and rapid software prototypes to solve problems in machine learning and systems engineering
- Implement and evaluate machine learning algorithms & neural networks for diverse industries including; Health Care & Life Sciences, Automotive, Aviation and more.
- Stay engaged with Machine Learning research communities, keeping up to date with relevant trends & developments, and attend academic & industry conferences
- Contribute and participate in the development of ongoing training.
- Work in a rotational capacity with multiple Foxconn business entities, while delivering project results to each assigned function.
- Develop technical competency within each functional rotation.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications include;
- A Bachelor of Science and some prior related experience, or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical discipline (Degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Machine Learning, is desired)
- Ideally, 1 to 3 years of working knowledge in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning CNN and advanced knowledge or more of the following areas; natural language processing (NLP), speech recognition & processing, self-driving cars.
- Ideally, 1 to 3 years of development experience in Python, JavaScript, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, deep learning frameworks and SQL
- Ideally, 1 to 3 years of working experience with Machine Learning platforms (moving models between different frameworks) like Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX), Uber AI Ludwig, IBM Fabric for Deep Learning (FfDL), OpenML and Google AutoML.
- Ideally, 1 to 3 years of experience with deploying Machine Learning inference models (containers with Dockers, Jenkins, or Kubernetes) to Production environments (Edge & Cloud)
- Good communication skills, creative problem solving, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment as part of a multi-disciplinary research and training development team.
- Experience with OpenCV, HyperOpt, PCL (Point Cloud Library), OpenGL, and VTK
- Experience/expertise with ML libraries/tools (e. g., Scikit-learn, Theano, H2O, YOLOv3, Faster-RCNN, VGG16, Shogun)
