Public Affairs Specialist
- This position is located in the Public Affairs Office in the St. Paul District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Public Affairs Specialist will implement the District-wide public information program, plan and develop information materials, and produce and disseminate news releases, feature articles and visuals describing agency programs.

Responsibilities
- Preparing strategic communication plans and presentations.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing public affairs policies, guidance, and procedures.
- Planning, editing, and coordinating internal and external communication products including press releases and media advisories.
- Drafting factsheets, brochures, and biographies.
- Preparing and giving speeches, briefings, and presentations.
- Creating communications using graphic design, editing, and photo editing software.
- Preparing and managing multimedia products for social media and web.
- Responding to public and media queries.
- Organizing participation in communication relation events, open house type events, and public meetings.
- Planning and executing media site visits.
