Retail Sales Administrative Assistant

Grand Appliance and TV specializes in providing customers with a customer focused shopping experience in state-of-the-art showrooms featuring top quality brands. We are looking for smart, motivated individuals to be involved in all aspects of the sales process including post-delivery. The ideal person will be a self-starter with great interpersonal skills, both with our customers as well as our internal team. This person must be detail oriented and project a positive welcoming attitude for existing and prospective customers.

·Scheduling of installations for both internal and external installers.

·Scheduling of deliveries with customers, including verification of the delivery address.

·Transferring and allocating product for deliveries in advance of the installation date.

·Updating invoices with information about who and when installation is coming.

·Identifying any special instructions for delivery.

·Notifying appropriate sales people of any delivery issues.

·Collecting payments for COD orders.

·Set up service calls directly with appropriate servicers.

·Verify service calls are completed in a timely manner.

·Communicate with customer service on escalated issues.

·Process quotes and orders as needed- insure correct product and pricing is being utilized.

·Assemble specifications with detailed cover sheet, clearly identifying who is responsible for installation on each product.

·Assist customers in the showroom as needed.

·Additional tasks as needed.

·Must be friendly and customer-centric with strong organizational skills.

·Ability to locate information quickly via online searches.

·Advanced proficiency in Excel, excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential to this position.

Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
