Scientist III, Navigation Sys

Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve navigation technology. You will facilitate design, development, and testing of advanced navigation technologies to meet project objectives faster and more efficiently as you develop and commercialize new products & technologies. This position will focus on development of GPS-denied navigation systems using inertial, computer vision, radar and other technologies.

YOU MUST HAVE

·        Masters Degree or greater in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
·        Due to export control regulations, this position requires US citizenship status.

WE VALUE

·        Navigation System Experience
·        Estimation techniques including Kalman and Particle filtering experience 
·        Programming experience in C++, MATLAB, Linux
·        Experience with Robotic Operating System (ROS), OpenCV, CUDA, and/ or Python
·        OpenGL, GDAL
·        Experience with embedded systems and hardware/software integration
·        Industrial design talent
·        Ability to work independently
·        Willingness to learn new technologies
·        An open, honest and team oriented personality
·        Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
·        Creativity
·        Some experience in engineering related field
·        Understanding of industry standards
·        Some experience with all aspects of technology development
