Systems Development Intern
The Systems Development Intern will assist in the development and testing of instruments, software and accessories designed for use in vitro diagnostic medical device systems. The position is intended to be a part-time opportunity for an engineering or science undergraduate to obtain hands-on engineering experience in medical device development while contributing to the development effort.
- Assemble instruments and test fixtures
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and refinement of device designs
- Recommend improvements based on test results
- Design test fixtures and accessories under supervision of engineers
- Program test fixtures
- Collect and analyze data
- Prepare and present written and oral reports
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures
- Regular and reliable attendance
