2019-2020 Supply Chain College Intern

FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEWS:
• SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT - Global Strategic Sourcing: Category management, development and management of key supplier relationships, long term strategy development, value creation, securing supply, development of unique and collaborative programs, data analytics.
• SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT – Material Planning/Purchasing: The material planning team provides tactical purchasing support for assigned products and services and may encompass multiple company locations. The team is responsible for reviewing material requirements, processing purchase orders, confirming orders, and reconciling discrepancies to ensure all products are received as required to support the various manufacturing processes.
• PLANNING & LOGISTICS: To plan and maintain daily Supply Chain operations in materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management or order fulfillment.
• HEALTH & SAFETY: Elevate safety performance through data analytics and process mapping, help achieve EHS objectives and targets, and improve the overall Environmental, Health and Safety Management System.
• QUALITY: Applies skills in areas of continuous improvement, supplier selection & supplier improvement, and product quality control.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelors in:
o Supply Chain Management, Engineering, IT, Finance, Accounting,
Organizational Leadership, Operations, Logistics, Occupational Health and
Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Engineering, Ergonomics, Occupational
Health and Safety Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be currently enrolled, pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree at an accredited four year
university
• Ability to complete a 10-12 week assignment, preferred *exceptions athletics, military, etc.
• Will work a 40 hour work week for the duration of the internship
• 3.0 Min GPA preferred
