Bartender/Concessions Agent

JOB SUMMARY - The bartending position is under the direct supervision of the concession’s supervisor with the front of house department. Bartending employees will work to ensure excellent guest service per the standards set forth by the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. This is a part-time position and requires many evening and weekend duties.

         

As a team member of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, you will help build a positive working environment as well as inspire, transform and build our community through exceptional live experiences.

·        Bartending:

o  Provides guests with desired food and beverage selections in a professional and courteous manner.

o  Assists with clean up at beverage station after each event.

o  Verifies proper forms of identification in determining legality of serving drinks to guests.

·         Cash Handling:

o  Cash handling skills include making change and balancing cash receipts at the end of each shift.

o  Complete reports and forms as required by the department.

·        Customer Service:

o  Maintain a high level of customer service that is consistent with the Center’s ideals.

o  Ability to service difficult or intoxicated patrons.

o  Communicate by radio or phone with building staff.

·        Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires strong communication skills, ability to be efficient and courteous while interacting with a large number of guests, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to work individually and as part of a team.
