Communications & Research Internship - PAID

The Minnesota DFL is seeking interns to help with writing, video development, graphic design, research, and special projects.

Duties include assisting in writing press releases, columns and letters to the editor; writing, taping and editing videos; monitoring media (print, radio and television); working with DFL Communication Coordinators across the state; and working with a team on research projects.

Qualified interns will have excellent writing and research skills, editing and communication skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and organizational skills. For those interested in video production, the Minnesota DFL has a small video studio with an Apple iMac, Sony camera, DSLRs, a teleprompter, mics, etc. The Communication Department has Adobe Production Premium available for use. Political science, journalism, video, graphic art, and mass communication students are encouraged to apply.
