Senior Extruder Design Engineer
Position Responsibilities:
As a Senior Extruder Design Engineer you will produce original mechanical equipment designs. You could design extruder and other equipment from concept through delivery. Detail responsibilities are as below:
- Deliver new equipment innovation grid in partnership with Process Engineers and Product Developers
- Ensure all designs are engineered to meet national and international codes, standards, and regulations
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings or computer-generated reports
- Using drafting tools or computer-assisted design software(3-D)
- Perform FEA
- Utilize mechanical design expertise, in collaboration with process experts, to develop comprehensive solutions
- Research and Development of new products
- Improve existing equipment
- Assist in building and commissioning the prototype
- International Travel
Candidate Requirements:
-must have:
- 10+ years of experience in designing extruders or similar industrial equipment. Candidates with less years of experience can apply for Extruder Design Engineer, but must clearly illustrate their expert capabilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Fluent with 3D design software as Autodesk Inventor.
- Keen knowledge of metallurgy and heat treatments
- Knowledge of fluid power systems (Hydraulics and Pneumatics)
- Knowledge of Steam Systems
- Good communication skills
