Community Relations-Diversity and Inclusion Intern
Assist in developing and executing strategies that help achieve the Twins’ diversity and inclusion objectives; plan multicultural game day events and promotions; special events; assist with diversity related communications and marketing; compile information and manage database; measure department performance and produce quarterly and annual reports. All Community Relations interns will also support the Community Relations department with game day activations, diversity & inclusion, special events, Twins Community Fund events, and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Ideal candidate will possess strong writing and interpersonal skills and have a passion for volunteerism and community development. Available to work nights and weekends. Strongly preferred, a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving in the Twin Cities metro area. Candidate must have an interest in community relations, strong computer skills and the ability to interact professionally with current players and alumni. Must be able to lift 35 pounds as needed.
Hours: 40 hrs/week, available to work nights and weekends
