Human Resources Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting various task HR administration tasks as well as recruitment, training and social media and event planning.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 
  1. Learns and handles the sourcing aspect of recruitment for non exempt positions; handles the initial phone interview and presents qualified candidates to Recruiter
  2. Participate in all HR event planning and execution as a member of the Heart & Soul Committee
  3. Assist in the internal social media platform as well as any external media needs
  4. Assists in content development in concert with the Training Manager for things such as Lunch and Learns and Ted Talks.  Assists in the administration of the LMS.  Also assist in the onboarding process.
  5. Assist with Data integrity of employee data in ADP by handling monthly audits of data
  6. Updates knowledge consistently recommending new ideas or courses of action
  7. As a member of the team, executes any other HR projects or responsibilities as assigned

Excellent Microsoft skills- Outlook and Word; ATS and/or HRIS database experience a plus
