Position Summary – Product Engineering Intern
Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments.

Primary & Essential Accountabilities
- Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments
- Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the company and also learn new things
- Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
- Completing assigned tasks on time
- Gather and assemble data for engineers
- May be required to help in research in a particular field
- Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers
- Assist engineers with appropriate design details
- Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
- Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Assemble prototypes
- Support testing of products.
- Other duties as assigned

High School Diploma/GED; Some progress towards college degree
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a 4 year ABET accredited Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Program.
- Current standing must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must have completed or currently enrolled in the following courses: Introduction to Engineering, and up to 4 engineering classes in your major, and 1 lab
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Work effectively as a member of a team
