Intermodal Operations Intern Fall 2019

Schneider has an immediate need for an Operations Intern. Responsibilities include utilizing the best cost option available to maximize profitability while ensuring customer requirements are met, building a strong working relationship with their primary core Carriers, Drivers, Planners, and Driver Managers. They continually seek ways to improve the day to day processes, increase efficiencies, reduce waste and value the orange assets while working directly with drivers to execute the daily work assignments.

Qualified candidates should possess the following criteria:
  • Be currently enrolled in college or technical school and in your final year of college
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Math, Supply Chain or major relevant to the work at Schneider
  • Cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or greater
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and build relationships
