ORAGANIZATION SUMMARY:
 
The Northside Economic Opportunity Network’ (NEON) promotes economic equity by identifying business ownership as a path toward income generation and long-term asset building. For the next three years NEON will increase work to start, support, sustain, and expand the number of culturally diverse businesses owned and operated in North Minneapolis.
 
JOB SUMMARY:
 
The Project Manager for NEON Property Maintenance, LLC is an entrepreneur with direct responsibility for designing, developing and operating NEON Property Maintenance, LLC into a viable and self-sustaining enterprise.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Solicit and acquire service accounts
 
·        Service Accounts includes include Lawn Care, Landscaping, Snow Removal and Janitorial.
·        Recruit and work with local contractors to perform the services
Technical Assistance:
 
·        Provide technical training to contractors to ensure high quality of service to clients
·        Work with NEON Business Development Team to provide the basic fundamentals in the areas of technical assistance, legal services, marketing, general business management and finance.
Reporting and Evaluation:
 
·        Track monthly statistics and prepare monthly financial statements and report to VP, Business Development.
·       Perform and supervise backroom operations including, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
·        Client track data entry as required
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Education and Experience:
 
·        Bachelor’s Degree in business related field and/or equivalent combination of work, entrepreneur and educational experience.
·        Experience in working in diverse environments with clients of varying economic backgrounds
 
 
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
 
·        Experience in client management, financial and business plan development
·        Excellent organization, multi-tasking, proactivity, listening and communication skills when interacting with clients and NEON staff
·        Ability to work effectively independently, in a team environment, and in collaboration with diverse groups
·        Commitment to quality customer service and excellence
·        Demonstrated computer proficiency along with excellent written and verbal skills
·        Excellent verbal and written skills.
·        Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid professional relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
·        Able to work independently and as a productive member of a team.
·        Dependable, punctual and a positive attitude.
·        Demonstrated understanding of and experience in developing measurable results.
