No Labels New Hampshire Internship

No Labels is seeking passionate and motivated Interns who are interested in working in New Hampshire on grassroots UNITY campaign and our 2,000-attendee convention in November 2019. Our New Hampshire Interns will be fully immersed in a campaign-style team and have the chance to meet national and statewide figures traveling to the state in advance of the 2020 presidential election. Students with an interest in community organizing or political campaigns will find this position an excellent primer for field and communications work.

Duties and Responsibilities
Our New Hampshire Interns will support No Labels’ Manchester, NH-based team, which includes:
-         Directly engaging with citizens, through social media, phone calls, emails, and door-to-door canvassing, in order to build relationships with supporters.
-         Building momentum and energy among longtime and new supporters of the No Labels movement by hosting and attending political events, representing No Labels at community events, and acting as the on-the-ground point of contacts for No Labels-branded materials.
-         Working with a New Hampshire-based team to design and build regular events, ranging from focus groups to town hall meetings to large-scale rallies. 
-         Assist in recruiting and organizing local volunteers.
-         Staffing and scheduling No Labels surrogates.
 
No Labels has both part- and full-time internships available. Interns will be based in Manchester, NH and are paid. Current students are encouraged to apply, and we will work with applicants to determine an appropriate work schedule. Preferred candidates will have a laptop computer, valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

-         Excellent communication skills
-         Flexible team player with a “can-do” attitude.
-         Highly organized with an ability to juggle multiple projects
-         Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
-         Interested in politics and committed to bipartisanship
-         Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
