Fall Intern for Development and Volunteer teams
Purpose
Volunteering to grow and maintain a sustainable volunteer program by assisting the Volunteer Services Coordinator in providing an exceptional on-site experience for all volunteer groups working in the Appleton location. We want to use this internship as an opportunity to bring talented interns into our facility in order to improve our processes, and we want this internship to highlight your interests. Responsibilities
· Lead volunteer groups throughout with orientation, providing tours, answering questions during volunteer activities, and stewardship after the fact, such as taking photos of the groups after their activity, thanking them and debriefing the group in order to improve the experience for future volunteers.
· Act as quality control to help ensure product sorted and made available to members is up to organization standards.
· Communicate weekly with Volunteer Services Coordinator for a volunteer forecast for planning purposes, as well as to check in on projects and progress in the group leader position.
· Assist with maintaining a clean and organized Volunteer Center and Reclamation Room.
· Organize and maintain volunteer waivers.
