Recruitment Specialist
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for providing career counseling services for the Displaced Homemaker Program. Activities include recruitment and enrollment, documentation, case management, job search activities and participation in the Avivo team meetings.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates tours and informational sessions for potential participants and/or their counselors as needed.
- Assists with the maintenance of the marketing calendar used to consistently send marketing materials and coordinates with Director of Employment Services to ensure recruitment is consistent and results in appropriate and expanded referrals.
- Works closely with the Development staff on social media marketing in addition to newsletters.
- Makes marketing calls for Avivo Employment and Career Education services and identifies new potential populations to be served.
- Development, maintenance and distribution of marketing materials.
- Supports the Recruitment and Business Development Teams activities including identifying current needs, identifying appropriate job and resource fairs, assigns staff to fairs and ensures all materials are updated and ready for distribution
- Represents Avivo at career and/or resource fairs and other community events.
- Represents Avivo in community associations and/or meetings.
- Provides documentation and reports on recruitment outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA degree in human services, education, marketing, rehabilitation or related field preferred.
- One-year of experience in outreach and marketing.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Experience and desire to work with persons of diverse cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business partners, referral counselors and participants.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve quickly.
WAGE: $18.27/hour
