HRIS Technical Specialist

The Associate HRIS Technical Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues and maintaining relevant data tables while supporting various HR systems, and projects as assigned. This position is also responsible for responding to and providing resolution to inquiries, issues, and transactions related to LifeWay HR systems and processes from employees and managers. Must provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers via telephone, email, and services management software.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining HR systems including enhancements and upgrades
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems related to HR systems 
  • Reviews and provides feedback on enhancement request from users
  • Collaborates with internal and external departments on assigned projects
  • Approves and completes system access request and password reset request
  • Responds to employee and manager inquiries
  • Creates ad hoc reports as requested
  • Performs data analysis as requested

Qualifications
Minimum Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field
  • PHR or HRIP preferred
Years of Experience Required:
  • 3 - 5 years automated HRIS experience required
  • 2 years query writing
