Engineering Co-op
The City of Waukesha, Department of Public Works, is currently seeking 1 Engineering Co-op starting Fall semester 2020, and 1 Engineering Co-op starting Spring semester 2021. Co-ops will be involved in a wide variety of municipal engineering work, including surveying, construction inspection of public works projects, GIS applications, traffic analysis, assisting in design projects and plan production/drafting, etc.
Terms: 1). Co-op - Fall semester 2020, Summer 2021, Spring 2022
2). Co-op – Spring semester 2021, Fall 2021, Summer 2022.
Some Co-ops have opted to work all 3 terms in a row.
You Must be enrolled in your University's Co-op program to qualify.
The City of Waukesha has a long-standing quality Co-op Program. Our Co-op Alumni have stated that the City provides a solid, well-rounded civil engineering foundation that offers many “networking” opportunities. It’s no surprise that many practicing engineers in the Milwaukee-area are former City of Waukesha Co-op Students.
Qualifications: Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Management classwork.
Undergraduate status & enrolled in your University's Co-op program.
Auto Desk Civil 3D familiarity preferred.
Excellent driving record with a valid driver’s license.
