Application Development Intern
The Application Development Intern will work as part of a team to develop software applications and learn all facets of the application development process.
This internship is a located in Green Bay, WI. It is a year round internship, working part-time hours during school (15-20 hours/week) and full-time hours during summer/winter breaks.
What you'll do:
Development
- Participate in the physical development of applications. Prepare, program, test and document
- Working with customers, provide support for production systems. Research problems, define changes, prepare, test and install changes
- Provide technical and business information, support and training to Schreiber internal customers to assist them in performing and improving their daily work processes
- Help project manager with project management tasks
- Participate in the requirements analysis, general design and implementation of applications
- Develop an understanding of business and technical requirements for each assigned task
- Research problems, define changes, prepare, test and install changes
- Participate in project meetings
- Create and update technical design specifications
- Prepare and conduct unit, integration, and system testing. Work with the business partner on the final acceptance testing

- Provide for and participate in educational, personal growth and cross-training opportunities
- Learn new technologies (i.e. SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Applications, etc.)
- Learn how to manage a project from beginning to end by taking a business need and developing a solution to solve it

What you will need to succeed:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor degree program in the following fields of study: Computer Science, MIS, or Business preferred. A minimum of 3 semesters remaining in school.
- 3.0 GPA Minimum
- Exposure to project-specific programming languages
- Strong oral and written communication skills
