Help serve nearly 140,000 children, adults, and seniors in the working poor Central/South Phoenix community by helping ICM Food & Clothing bank redesign their volunteer management system! Implement all aspects of volunteer management including creating policies, procedures for training, recruitment and orientation as well as the implementation of a database that incorporates the volunteer function of the organization. Complete your year of service with experience in volunteer management, database implementation, and capacity building experience along with a $6,000 Education Award!
Requirements:
- Understand database functionality
- Be able to relate to people within the organization

All of our VISTA positions are for one year here in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area. VISTAs who move over 50 miles qualify for a relocation allowance as well as a settling in allowance. All of our VISTAs receive a modest living allowance of around $1,000/month, plus federal loans qualify for forbearance. After the completion of ones year of service they also qualify for around a $6,000 education award that can be used towards federal loans or for further education.
