Brief Job Description
Fenway Golf Club is a Member owned private Country Club. The selected individuals will receive experience in every facet of banquet service, restaurant dining, golf outing production, accounting, inventory and ordering. Additional rotations through the halfway house and snack bar operations will be available as well. Interns will be able to learn and experience these operations thus gaining a thorough understanding of the Country Club business
Candidate Qualifications
An enthusiastic attitude and hands on approach will allow candidates to excel on our team.
Candidates must be able to assist in the food service operation including but not limited to event setup, event operations, event clean-up, banquet server, ala carte server and when needed kitchen steward. Candidates must maintain the high standards in a professional appearance, demeanor and communication with all Members, guests and staff. Candidates must assist with specified duties as directed by management. Candidates should be able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, kneeling, bending and be able to lift 50 lbs. with no restrictions. Candidates must be able to withstand hot, cold, smoke, and / or humid conditions for prolonged periods. Candidates must be able to work without direct supervision.
Educational Requirements
Candidates should be enrolled in hospitality or sport-related major, recent graduates are welcome to apply as well. Candidate must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and have completed (1) year of their degree.
