School Psychologist 2019-2020 School Year

Position Details:
Title: School Psychologist
Placement (location): District wide position, scheduled to serve Hillside Elementary, Eagle Rock Elementary and Eagle Point Middle School
Supervisor: Director of Special Services
Contract Days: 191 plus additional 10 days at actual daily rate to begin August 2019
Salary Range: $37,851 - $71,446 plus master's stipend of $1,893 (depending upon previous experience and graduate level credits), plus annual stipend of $3,138
Position Closing Date: Open until filled, screening to begin as soon as January 7, 2019

Description:
This position requires:
  • Master’s degree in school/educational psychology from an accredited college or university
  • Personnel Services License with School Psychologist endorsement from the Oregon Teacher Standards & Practice Commission or the ability to obtain same license prior to the start date
  • Must hold or be able to immediately obtain a valid Oregon Driver’s License and personal transportation 
  • Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply
 General Expectations:
The ideal applicant will provide support and services to students, staff and patrons in all areas of student learning, development, emotional growth and behavior. The School Psychologist performs expert assessments of student needs, as well as the determination of the services, methods and instruments necessary to address identified areas of need. 

A desire to collaborate with other educators and agencies, as well as the ability to maintain and adapt to meet the ever changing needs of our students is required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using a variety of pedagogical and assessment tools, have a passion for educating ALL STUDENTS, and a willingness to be involved in the school community beyond the classroom setting.
