Information Technology Specialist Intern/Volunteer
Project Summary:
Generations Against Bullying (GAB) is seeking a skilled information technology intern to assist in helping to maintain our computer-based information system that is used to help raise awareness of our vision and mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in design, operate and help maintain the organization’s technology products.
· Work closely with GAB team in computer troubleshooting and answering IT questions.
· Work with GAB office personnel to assist in IT projects
· Other activities that may be needed
Qualifications:
· Must be trained and/or experienced in Information Technology, especially hardware, software, and security, with the ability to research online and find solutions and vendors
· Organized, methodical, analytical and detail-oriented, and have excellent time management skills
· Systematic approach to problem-solving and process-development
· Able to work independently as well as in a team, and flexible to changes
· Able to define priorities and work within deadlines
· Punctual, diligent, honest, reliable, and able to work smartly
· Able to determine hardware and software needs, and find the best vendors
· Ability to transfer, copy and edit videos a plus
· Experience with Windows and Apple PCs, and Android and iOS phones a plus
· Programming skills a plus
· Pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
