Donations & Communications Specialist Intern/Volunteer
Project Summary:
Generations Against Bullying (GAB) is seeking a skilled telemarketing intern who will be focused on securing donations and assist in providing administrative communications support to office operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Data entry and answering phones when volunteering at GAB’s office
· This includes customer needs assessment and surveying.
· Research contact information for sponsors and donors, and handle inbound and cold calls
· Contact volunteers and members
· Other activities that may be needed
Qualifications:
· Experience and/or education in administrative work and communications
· Great phone personality and able to handle inbound and cold calls
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
· Patient, friendly, persuasive and polite
· Extremely organized, analytical and detail-oriented, and have excellent time management skills
· Able to work independently as well as in a team, and flexible to changes
· Able to define priorities and work within deadlines
· Punctual, diligent, honest, reliable, and able to work smartly
· Pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
Start Date: Position open until filled
Hours: 4-20 hours, very flexible
Compensation: This is an UNPAID/Volunteer internship
