Fundraising and Events Coordinator Intern/Volunteer

Project Summary:           
Generations Against Bullying (GAB) is seeking a skilled fundraiser to coordinate activities of staff, clients and partners, making arrangements for group meetings, fundraisers, conventions and other events, as well as solicit funds through other means.
Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        Develop and carry out fundraising activity plans that maximize participation and contributions while minimizing costs
·        Make reports about fundraising results, and have presentations/meetings to prepare for events
·        Contact corporate representatives, government officials, or community leaders to increase awareness of organizational needs
·        Plan and manage events, as well as other required activities
·        Work closely with GAB office personnel, especially the webmaster and social media team

Qualifications:
·        Experienced and/or educated in fundraising and events coordination
·        Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media applications
·        Extremely organized, analytical and detail-oriented, and have excellent time management skills
·        Able to work independently as well as in a team, and flexible to changes
·        Able to define priorities and work within deadlines
·        Punctual, diligent, honest, reliable, and able to work smartly
·        Pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
·        Social media networking capability, nonprofit, fundraising or events experience a plus
·        Experience with donor database software a plus

Compensation:                   This is an UNPAID volunteer position internship
