Administrative Assistant Intern/Volunteer
Project Summary:
Generations Against Bullying (GAB) is seeking a skilled administrative intern/volunteer to assist in providing administrative support to office operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Data entry and answering phones when volunteering at GAB’s office
· Coordinate, create, and update project communications including updating and compiling print
materials for events and marketing material
· Work closely with GAB office personnel in administrative duties
· Keep the calendar up-to-date and remind staff of upcoming appointments & events
· Assist team in a supportive capacity on tasks
· Other activities that may be needed
Qualifications:
· Trained and/or experienced in secretarial/clerical and communications
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, and other software
· Type quickly (>50 WPM)
· Well organized, analytical and detail-oriented, and have excellent time management skills
· Able to work independently as well as in a team, and flexible to changes
· Able to define priorities and work within deadlines
· Punctual, diligent, honest, reliable, and able to work smartly
· Pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
