Behavioral Health Internship Open Blaine/Ferndale (Bellingham area)

Site accepts interns year-round to provide behavioral health services to children, adolescents, couples, families and adults in a rural setting. Focus is on PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and adjustment issues. Theoretical Orientation: Systems, CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic.

Opportunity to learn to facilitate and conduct intake interviews, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, couples counseling, family counseling and individual counseling. Training opportunities involve learning to diagnose with the DSM V, learning to utilize assessment scales for depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and trauma.

Opportunity to learn from a multi-disciplinary team in a group supervision setting as well as individual supervision.
