Communications and Development Intern

Einstein Project (EP) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications and Development Intern to support our growing initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, development, donor stewardship, event coordination, and grant writing. The intern will work closely with the Executive Director and both the Directors of Marketing and Development, contributing to key projects that support EP's mission of providing equitable access to resources and opportunities, ensuring that all learners cultivate their curiosity and nurture their creativity.
 

This position is ideal for a student  interested in communications, nonprofit management, fundraising, and grant writing who wants to build practical skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications Support (Under the guidance of the Director of Marketing/Communications)

  • Support the development and management of annual communications and marketing plan.
  • Assist with marketing and communications campaign using social media, email, mail, and other modes of communication.
  • Help with event and volunteer planning and ensuring proper recognition to highlight the community impact.
  • Collaborate with marketing/communications team to develop creative content that support our educational programs. Highlighting our impact on learners of all ages.

 

Development Support (Under the guidance of the Director of Development)

  • Support the development and organization of donor outreach materials, including thank-you letters, acknowledgment templates, and impact reports.
  • Assist with donor database management, ensuring accurate recording of gifts and donor interactions.
  • Help with Grant research and management
  • Support social media and email campaigns related to fundraising initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing/communications team to develop creative content that supports fundraising efforts.

Einstein Project is located on UW-Green Bay's campus so it makes it easy to work in between class but we are happy to discuss a hybrid model (10-15 hours/week).
